Mary C. Griffin Nixon b. 1822 SC d. aft. 1860 Choctaw, MS

I am seeking information on possible parents for Mary C. Griffin who married John Nixon. They resided in Choctaw County, MS in 1850. The part of Choctaw county in which they lived became Webster then Calhoun, as far as I know. In 1850 they are living near the John Pepper family and several Spencer families. Their children in 1850 are Mary, Martha, James and Milley, also spelled Millie, may be Permelia or Amelia. In 1860 they are living near the Wiley Suggs family with additional children, Elizabeth, Jesse, Mary A. and Sarah F.
Any information is appreciated.
Thanks, Paula
