James and John Newton Williamson

James D and John Newton WILLIAMSON came by train from NC during the Civil War to serve in the CSA because their mother thot them too young to join in NC. We do not know what unit they served with, but do know that John N took a ball in his leg which he refused to have removed when he was a drummer boy. They settled in and around Attala county. James married a lady named Patience L...maiden name unknown. He is buried at Forest Grove Presbyterian cemetery in Leake Co, but his tombstone is gone. We have his will (no genealogy info).
He had children Mattie, Susan and Rueben Williamson.
John Newton WILLIAMSON married twice Sallie Hall and Mary B Harrington. They are buried at Yockanookany cemetery.
He had 13 children and lived later in Madison Co. Surely there are descendants there who could provide more info on these families for those of us back in NC. Thank you for your kindness.
