Thanks. James Monroe Black's father was William M. Black.born Aug. 29, 1829 in Ala. Mother--Martha A.(no last name).born about 1832 in South Carolina.
James Monroe Black was born 1853 in Georgia. married Mary Florence Wilson about 1870 in Mississippi. Mary Florence Wilson was born Dec. 22, 1853 in Holmes Co. Miss. I have her death date as July 29, 1929 in Miss. Probably, Kosciusko or McCool, Attala Co. Ms.
James Monroe Black and Mary Florence Wilson Black had the following children:

William Isom Black B:9/22/1876, D:9/2/1950, married Elizabeth Ellender McGee B:3/29/1873 D:6/17/1944

Nancy Elizabeth Black Hodge B:9/9/1874,in Attala Co.Ms.D:6/15/1950, in McCool, Attala Co.Ms. Married 1/11/1900, in Attala Co.Ms, Bennett Lee Hodge B:9/15/1873, D:3/17/1947, in McCool, Attala Co.Ms.

Joseph P. Black B:7/ /1880 married Ida Sistrunk

Robert M. Black Married Anna

Jackson Black

Lottie Black married Hebert Thompson

Maggie Black B:3/17/1886 Married Thomas Roddy Spears
