The Turner DNA project being sponsered by Family Tree DNA company now has over 20 men enrolled with lines whose American immigration points are from MD and VA. I would like to invite any male surnamed Turner with possible roots in that area to join us. We have a number of Turner lines represented and a number of men that have found unknown matches within the group.
My own Turners settled in the Northeast section of Attala county near Multona Springs and Berea and I know there were two other unrelated Turner families in Attala county, one in McCool and one near Sallis. I hope men from both of these lines will be interested in this project. I have been very pleased with the results personally.
