Bert McKinney Coleman Jr., 65, died April 29, 2009, in Jackson. He was a wholesale auto dealer for many years and a member of the Oakland Baptist Church. He graduated from Corinth High School and attended Northeast Community College. He loved his children, grandchildren and family. He loved all sports and coached at the Y. He was a man of strong faith.
Services were at Oakland Baptist Church with burial in Henry Cemetery. McPeters Inc. Funeral Directors was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included three daughters, Buff Ellen Coleman-Garcia (Antonia) of Palm Beach Garden, Fla., Jennifer McCollum (Jordan) of Saltillo and Delinda Cardwell of Memphis; one brother, Edwin Coleman (Donna) of Tupelo; one sister, Sara McKinney (Kenneth) of Vernon, Ala.; grandchildren, Arabella Sanchez-Garcia and Sterling Sanchez-Garcia, Jacob Lee McCollum and Jillian McCollum; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert M. Coleman Sr. and Maxine Brewster Coleman; his wife, Polly Coleman; and a niece, Allyson Dianne Coleman.
