Sue Vuncannon O'Neal, 55, died April 26, 2008, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born Aug. 13, 1952, in Corinth. She was a 1973 graduate of Corinth High School and a 1978 graduate of Mississippi State University. She worked at Corinth Public Library during the 1980s and at Russell Memorial Library in Chesapeake, Va., during the 1990s until 2005. She performed with the Corinth Theater Arts troupe during the 1980s. She enjoyed writing her many friends; organizing family reunions; and sports, especially the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys. She loved her family and all kinds of animals, especially her cats, Stormy and Little Sue.
Services were at McPeters Funeral Home with burial in Wheeler Grove Cemetery.
Survivors included one brother, Bill Vuncannon; a sister-in-law, Laura Vuncannon; a niece, Beverly Vuncannon Mills; a nephew-in-law, Brandon Mills; two great-nephews, Cody and Riley Mills; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Lee and Etta Mae Vuncannon, and a nephew, Russell Lee Vuncannon.
