Elizabeth "Liz" Nixon Morrow, 68, died April 20, 2008, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church No. 2 and a factory worker. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and enjoyed cooking, traveling and volunteering at the schools.
Services were at Antioch Baptist Church No. 2 with burial in Antioch No. 2 Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home of Corinth was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included her husband, Shelby A. Morrow of Rienzi; two sons, James Dean Morrow (Barbara) of Rienzi and Shelby G. Morrow (Pam) of Haleyville, Ala.; two daughters, Rebecca Harris and Patricia Sullivan (Kenneth), both of Rienzi; 16 grandchildren, Tracey Ramsey, Susie Straun, Jessica Lee Gatenby, Stephanie Belcher, Katherine Harris, Casey Harris, Jessica Morrow, Jason Harris, Carol Morrow, Patricia Morrow, Kenneth Sullivan Jr., Heather Sullivan, James Dean Morrow II, Alena Pierce, Whitley Morrow and Shelbie Morrow; two stepgrandchildren, Ronnie Harris and Gary Harris; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Nixon (Betty) of Corinth and Jimmy Norris (Charlotte) of Apache Junction, Ariz.; one brother-in-law, Gerald Morrow of Corinth; two sisters-in-law, Merold Duncan (Lee) of Grapevine, Texas, and Judy Kessen (Joe) of Corinth.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dalton Nixon, and her mother, Vinnie Higginbottom Nixon.
