Brownie Sue Easley, 86, died April 15, 2008, at her home in Corinth. She lived in Artesia most of her adult life, moving to Corinth several years ago to be near her daughter. She was a member of Artesia Baptist Church. Affectionately known as "Momma Sue" by her family, she enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, working in her yard, and cooking for her family and friends.
Services were at McPeters Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Memorial Garden in Columbus.
Survivors included one daughter, Mickey E. Davis of Corinth; one stepdaughter, Wray Richardson of Enterprise; one stepson; her grandchild, Stefanie D. McClain (Scott) of Cordova, Tenn.; two great-grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth McClain and Sydney Grace McClain of Cordova, Tenn.; her stepgrandchildren; seven other stepgrandchildren; several step great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell B. Easley; her parents; three sisters; and a son-in-law, Bobby D. Davis.
