Ruby Lee Bain Stricklen, 90, died Friday, March 21, 2008, in Greenfield. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed working in her garden, cooking and baking pies. She was a good and giving person who gave of herself unselfishly. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Services were at Coleman Family Chapel with burial in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
Survivors included two sons, George Taylor (Faye) of Dresden, Tenn., and Larry Taylor (Faye) of Greenfield, Tenn.; 13 grandchildren, Cindy, Sherry, Larry, Mary, Lisa, Michelle, Angie James, Shelia, Kathy, Ricky, Mellisa and Teresa; 13 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren, Paul, Brenda, Kenny, Eddie, Debbie and Kathy; 28 stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Stricklen; a daughter, Shirley Robinson; a brother, Henry Lee Bain; and a sister, Maude Lee.
