Mamie Thrasher, 55, died March 11, 2008, at her home. She was a Baptist and a retired employee of ITT.
Services were at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial was at Peoples Cemetery in Ripley.
Survivors included one son, John Thrasher of Corinth; two brothers, Danny Hensley of Walnut and Chris Hensley of Ripley; four sisters, Kathy Smith of Memphis, Carolyn Ray of Atoka, Tenn., Barbara Hall of Dumas and Glenda Vandiver of Ripley; her stepmother, Mary Lou Buchanan; a special friend, Danny Aldridge of Corinth.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hurshell Thrasher; her father, B.G. Hensley; a niece, Jenna Hensley; and a nephew, Ronnie Spencer.
