Ray Wilson Dove, 76, died March 2, 2008, at his residence. He was born in Chester, S.C. He and his family had lived in the Corinth area for the past 20 years. He was a retiree of the U.S. Army with 22 1/2 years of service. He enjoyed reading the newspaper, taking long rides and spending time with his grandchildren. He was of the Baptist faith.
Services were March 4, 2008, at McPeters Chapel with burial with Military Honors in Corinth National Cemetery. McPeters Funeral Directors was in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors included his wife, Linda S. Dove of Corinth; one son, Raymond Dove of Charlotte, N.C.; two daughters, Lisa Huff (John) and Marie Dotson (Royce) all of Corinth; three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Nannie Ruth Dove.
