Hi Dan -
This may not be related to the site you found. It is a headstone inscription (partial) I found in Magnolia Cemetery in Mobile, AL:
"GEORGE BULLOCK-WILLIS L.L.M. - GENTLEMAN - ELDEST SON OF BYRD CHARLES WILLIS OF VIRGINIA AND HIS WIFE LELA MANN OF ALABAMA - BORN FEB. 24, 1877 ON BEN LOMOND PLANTATION, GREENE CO., ALA. - MARRIED OCT. 3, 1905 - VIRGINIA GARROW BULLOCK - THE PLAYMATE OF HIS CHILDHOOD - DIED FEB. 21, 1923 - ...A GREAT-GREAT-GRAND NEPHEW OF GENERAL GEORGE WASHINGTON"
Send me your email address and I will send you a photo of this and his wife's headstone. I'm familiar with Greene Co., AL but have seen no other reference to Ben Lomond plantation. That's the name of a well-known mountain in Scotland, and is used for several U.S. place-names.
