I am a former Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce in Natchez, MS and worked there for twenty years. There was a old Postlethwaite house on the southwest side of Homochitto Street near Dunleith 'plantation' where Elizabeth Street enters Homochitto (a search for Dunleith on MapQuest will reveal these locations). The Postlethwaite house was recognized as a historic property, one of the many smaller wood-frame houses built in the Victorian style. The "Historic Natchez Foundation" will have more on the house and its original occupant because it is in one of the several historic districts in Natchez. Regards...
