I was recently at the court house in Natchez, and found the marriage licenses of my Great Great Grandparents, (lewis and fagan) in the Adams Co. MS Mrg book 1802 to 1859. The place was facinating....book after book after book filled with these licences....I'm sure what you are looking for is there. I don't know where you are, but if you can get to the Jackson archives and get the marriage book it will give you a date and the book to look for as well as the page it is on. I had to go to Natchez to the court house for the actual records...it was exciting to look at the original document, and they will copy it for you for a nominal fee.
