Natchez, MS, Sedalia Plantation Information
Posted by: Charles Wise (ID *****8781) Date: December 27, 2003 at 00:27:42

Hello.
On eBay I have ran across several 'slave tags' from the Sedalia Plantation in Natchez, MS. I was wondering if this was a real plantation in Natchez, and if it was, if there is any information out there as to the history of it. Specifically, I'd like to know the date it was founded, how long it was in operation, and how it got its name.
I am doing research on towns in the US named Sedalia (I'm from Sedalia, Missouri) and I was curious about this plantation as well since it came to my attention.
Thanks.
Charles Wise
