According to Raymond's notes: In 1860, they lived in Powder Springs with 6 daughters. Raymond had his name as Joseph B. Morgan. Anita contacted me after seeing an entry on Rootsweb. Anita's mother has the death certificate of Jesse Maud Morgan Jacobs. Her 1936 death certificate identifies her mother as Mary Mozley and her father as Jesse Bates Morgan. Anita found the oath of allegiance for Jesse Morgan and Glenn Mozley in 1867 in Ga. Mary lived with her daughter Alice Livingston in Hartselle, Al. in 1900 Census. I have Mary's birth date as about 1828, but Anita has it as Jan 1830. I am confused as to the dates as Priscilla Mozley Causey's birthday is Apr. 2, 1830.

Wonder why his name is Joseph here since his real name is Jesse Bates Morgan? Who gave that info on this census? These two enteries (Joseph Morgan in Big Shanty and Jesse M. Morgin) seem to be duplicates.
