Thanks for your message. I am interested in both your Spargo and Moyle connections.
My great great great great great grandmother was Margery Spargo born about 1732 and died in 1814 aged 82. She married John Cullicoat of Mabe in 1754 at the Mylor Parish Church. I know nothing else about her and don't know her parents names or any other of her Spargo relatives.
However I think all the Spargo's a probably related to each other and I am quite interested in the family. I have put together some family trees of the Spargo family mainly in Mabe Parish. I was therefore interested to learn about your Spargo ancestor. Some other of my relatives also married Spargos and it is interesting to see how they are all related.
I also have Moyle relatives - my relative Margaret Ann Nicholls married in 1855 William Moyle the son of John Moyle a stonemason. Their grandson was Arthur Moyle, Baron Moyle of Llanidoes.
I have a Elizabeth Spargo who married a John Moyle and thought initially these were your ancestors. But my Elizabeth wasn't born until 1827 and married John Moyle in 1853 at Mabe. Their descendants are living in Australia.

I have no Spargos in Gwennap so would be very interested in any information about them. Can we swap information?

Regards
Tony Rackstraw.
