Sandy
I think John MEKKES and Margaret MOYLE had two children at least. Ludolphina, who married Alfred COLLINS and Margaret who married George SUMMERS. Sorry no dates or places.
Margaret was the dau. of Josiah MOYLE b. 1846 Stithians Cornwall and Susan ?
There is some doubt from my family tree about which family Josiah came from back in Cornwall. I think he was the younger brother of my g.grandfather John MOYLE b. 1827 in Wendron, who emigrated to Australia in 1853. In that case, Josiah's father was John MOYLE b. 1799, a stonemason of Wendron Cornwall and his mother was either Eliza Jane ? or Jane PASCOE.
If his mother was Jane PASCOE, then his ancestry is well documented by Norman MOYLE. If it was Eliza Jane ? then Josiah is stuck with a father John MOYLE b. in Wendron Cornwall in 1799 with no ancestors known to me yet.
