I am trying to find the marriage of Anne Moyle to William Young, my husband’s Great Great Grandfather. William, born in Mapledurham Oxfordshire in 1818, joined the RN ending up, still single, on HMS Alert which was 'laid up' in Falmouth for several years before 1842. Unfortunately his RN records don’t show when he married but we know he transferred to Coast Guard service on 23 Aug 1842 at Osmington Mills CG Station, Weymouth, Dorset. Their first son, William, was born there on 25 Aug 1843. William and Anne eventually moved to Deptford, Kent. His 1881 census shows that she was 63 and born in Cornwall.
Can anyone help with this marriage?
