How do you know Laura Jane married Thomas STONEMAN in Bootle in 1897? I do have access to the UK CMR for the surname MOYLE, and it does indeed show a Laura Jane MOYLE marriage in the 3rd qtr. of 1897 in the district of Bootle (10b/1018). However, this Bootle is in Cumberlandshire, not Lancashire. There are 2 of them. Volume #10b is for Cumberlandshire is how I know which Bootle this is.
Do you have any evidence that Laura Jane was not in Cornwall for her marriage? Your 1st message indicated that the marriage was in 1900, and there is another Laura Jane listed as marrying in the 1st qtr. of 1900 in the district of Redruth, Cornwall (5c/306). Why wouldn't this entry be the Laura Jane you are looking for? At least the Redruth area is near where the family were living.
To find out for sure, you could always purchase a certificate or 2. I would start with the 1900 Laura Jane marriage.
