Don't know if this would be of any interest to you, but there was a family named moylan in 18th century Cork. Stephen moylan emigrated to Philadelohia 1768, his step-brother Jasper some time around 1774.
Stephen was the Colonel of Moylan's Dragoons and jasper was a lawyer in Philly.
Stephen m. a Mary van horn, Jasper a Mary Mease. Don't know of any children to either marriage. S. died 1811, Jasper 1812. No Alfreds in Cork family but possibly in America. If of interest, I know a lot about the Cork Moylans. Anthony
