Karol: I have James marrying Mary A. Lawrence in 1878 and someone called Frances around 1865 but don't have the names of his (reputedly) two previous wives. I have his children by Mary Lawrence as William, Joseph, Easter, James and Thomas Henry and by one of his unknown wives as George W, Mary, Charles and Ophelia. His son Charles who married Cordelia was born in 1867, died in 1907 and had children Lucy (b.1901), Ophelia (b.1902), Maye Homer (b.1904) and Athelia (b.1906). Lucy and Athelia both married Holleman boys. Some of this info came from you so I don't think it will help you very much. I would be interested to know the results of your summer research.
