It's always good to hear from a Moye Boy. I think the french pronouce it like there is an A on the end. I never was able to trace the name back father then my ex-husband's great grandfather who's name was Jack Moye so I have no idea where they came from. I would love to get farther back. He always said all Moye's were related. I have heard before of adding the e on the end when they came to America. I don't even have a wife's name for Jack,I just know they were in Ga. and his parents (my kids father's parents)came to Orlando,FL where he was born in 1938. I need to check the census records one day. It takes time.
It's a hard name to trace back. Thelma
