I have two Haywood Moyes, both born and married in Pitt Co, NC. The father was born in 1808, married Matilda in 1830 and had three children, Rosette, Sarah and Haywood Jr. who was born in 1838 and married twice: first to Amanda (Maude) Harris in 1871 and secondly to Nancy Williams, who is possibly your Nancy Joiner, in 1877. With his first wife his children were Frances, Francis, Jackson, Joseph, Louisa and possibly Jacky Ann. With his second wife he had McKay and Penelope. Hope this is of use to you.
