This is funny how things work out. I was just chatting with another Mousaw cousins about Ezra Mousaw and we had traded infro. Ezra is Walter's father and here are the notes that I sent the other cousins. I also have the obit for Ezra's wife, Ida Kirkey.
Just got into Sacred Heart again to check Mousseau. The
earliest ms in there were both kids of Israel Mousseau and Ida Kirkey.
One was Walter Joseph who m. Eleanor LaBarge 21 Oct. 1903 and Maria
who married Denis LaCombe 14 Feb. 1905. Eleanors parents were John and
Agnes Fayette, Denis parents John and Marguerite
Durocher.

Ezra (Isreal) Mousseau, Obit 1934 who died at age 77, spent most of his life in Massena, died Sunday morning at 11:00 o'clock, at home of daughter, Mrs. Laura Mousseau, 44 Beach street, after failing health past 3 yrs. Mr. Mousseau was born April 15, 1857, at Plattsburg, son of Mr. and Mrs.
John Mousseau.
when he as 21 years old he he came to massena and lived in this community since. On Feb.14, 1872 he
married Miss Ida Kirkey, and she died Feb. 23, 1924.He was a farmer. Surviving are one son Walter Mousseau of Saranac Lake, 2 daughters, Mrs. Dennis LaComb of 46 Beach street, Miss Laura Mousseau 44 Beach street; 2 brothers, Fred Mousseau of Crazy, and Max of West Crazy; 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral Svcs held Tues. morn at 10 o'clock at St.Mary's Church, burial at Calvary cemetery.
So, do you know who the John Mousseau is who is listed as Ezra's father? I would like to know if they are linked to the group that was already in Massena (ie Michael Mouso who married Adelaide Mylotte)
