Your Leah Mousseau was daughter of LOUIS Mousseau
Son of Oliver “Louis” Mousseau and Cecile Aubin Paradis. LOUIS was b. 23 Oct. 1848 in Canada - d. 25 June 1941 in Sandborn Twp., MI; m. 25 Oct. 1862-1869 to Lydia DENOMME at Ste. Joseph, Ontario, Canada, daughter of Norbert Denomme and Angel Ducharme. (Lydia: b. 08 Jan 1848 in St. Joseph, Ontario - d. 11 Apr. 1934 in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Ossineke, MI.) Both came from Ontario and immigrated through the Port Huron, MI - Sarnia, Ontario crossing. They eventually migrated north into the “Thumb” area to Port Crescent, MI.
