Hello Bernard,
Thank you for replying to me. It's nice to find someone I'm actually related to! My father was one of the youngest in his family and doesn't remember his grandmere Julia, so I haven't heard any stories about her. But his older sister remembers her and when I was in Winnipeg this past summer she showed me a few pictures. My grandmother Marie was the third oldest child of Julia Mousseau and Louis Hebert, they had 9 children. She was born in Aubigny, Manitoba in 1898 and grew up on a farm there. She married my grandfather Cyprien Mondor in November 1918. They had 7 children and my father is the third youngest. I was born and raised in Winnipeg but now live in Delta, British Columbia. I have 2 children who both live out here as well. My parents and brother (and his wife and children) are also living in BC.
I wasn't able to do as much research as I wanted to when I was in Winnipeg so I'm hoping to go back next year. My daughter says she'll come with me and help me with the research.
