Rose, I'll send you a message soon too. I have a family link to this info also. I've just received info about some corrections but the info is definite. Go to the Rootsweb site at
http://resources.rootsweb.com/surnames/h/o/HOOPER/
and in the Search World Connect Family Trees enter the given name of Ely (Though his name was actually spelled Eli) and go to the first Ida Mousseau. It is a gedcom I found online but I can't contact the author. This is the family for one of my family members. It has some errors and I'm working on my own with another person to correct them. This is just an in-law connection to me but I like sharing what I've found. See my message above with Roger. He sent me a pile of corrections to the Gedcom. I have it transferred to HTML pages and can send them to you when they are edited. If you want you can send any other edits/additions.
