GILBERT MOUSSEAU--L'Assomption-HELP!

HELP!
I am trying to find out who his parents were! He married Colombe Domothilde Matilde Lajeunesse of L'Assomption. She was a Metis, possibly the daughter of Michel Lajeunesse. I am sure that Gilbert was a descendant of Jacques Mousseau because of the dit name Desilets. His d.o.b.was approximatly 1836 in L'Assomption, and I know that he lived in Fort Coulonge during the time of his children's marriages--see my other posting for a list. Perhaps he went under a different name (Joseph?) and I know that his wife was referred to as Columbia, Columbe, Domothilde, Matilde, and Matilda as various times.
Any thoughts or info would be invaluable!
Thanks!
