Rodger Mourning settles into Green County, Ky prior to 1800. His daughter, Sarah Sally Mourning marries Philip Knifley there about 1799. There is a will of a Thomas Carlton (also spelled Charlton) probated there just a few years later leaving everything to the Mourning children by name. We have no idea his connection/relation to the Mournings, but your querry just gave us a clue. Thanks
