Any possibility that our Luther Moyer Mourer b. 1856 in Mifflinburg, Union Co., PA could have a connection to your Mourar family? Luther was known to use the spelling Mowrer at times too. He had a half brother, Jacob Mohr b. before 1860 probably in Mifflinburg, Union Co., PA. Both Luther and Jacob married in Hancock Co., OH.
