Francis Mountain sailed from Belfast, Ireland with wife and children on the "Britannia" landing at Savannah, Georgia on January 18, 1772. Francis settled at Queensborough, in St. George's Parish [now Louisville, Jefferson Co., Georgia]. 300 acres was granted to him on September 6, 1774 on Duhart's Creek.
I have not been able to trace him before Belfast. Mountain is a English surname.
