Hello Dawn, I have checked the 1881 census for Lancashire and found 2 possible entries for Christopher and Beatrice. One is Christopher E Mountain aged 8mths living at 2 Werneth St, Manchester with parents Christopher and Sarah J. Also in the house are brother William aged 9; his Aunt Sarah Cook and husband Edwin plus their 3 children. Could this be the family? I could email you full details of this entry if you wish. Also there was only one Beatrice Od(d)ie in the 1881 census; aged 2 living in Blackly,Nr Manchester with parents James and Martha J, sister Elizabeth P. and brother Samuel H. Any use? let me know? Glad to help.
Annette Bourke
