Mount, Ewing TWP, Mercer Co., NJ-1880 census

Can anyone explain the connection between Catharine Mount and Kate H. Plumley? I find them on the 1880 Census, NJ, Mercer Co., Ewing TWP, pg. 44 with Catharine Mount-head/84/w/f/ all NJ; and Kate H. Plumley-Grand-daughter/34/w/f/all NJ. This puzzles me because I have a Kate H. Plumley the same age whose parents are Abraham C. Plumley and Elizabeth Howell Plumley which would make Kate's grandparents John and Mary Hart Plumley and Samuel C. Howell and Catherine (?). Any assistance would be appreciated. Marti
