I went through my notes and was glad to see I didn't make that up. I have a copy of a family history compiled by Roscoe Emmett Arlington Moulthrop Sr. son of William B. and Alice A. (MacCubbin) Moulthrop. This is what he says about his father, "My father, Wm. Binih Henry Moulthrop, born in 1854 and died about 1926. Birthplace Flint Hill, Mo. My parents seperated in 1906 and I later learned my father re-married. He passed away in Phoenix, Arizona about 1926." He later mentions his father was a steam engineer and moved from job to job and was never home. He doesn't mention any other Moulthrop relative. Roscoe quit school halfway through sixth grade to go to work to help support the family. This was around 1900 and they lived in East St. Louis.
