The following is from the Attala County, Ms. 1850 Federal Census:

#431-431: L. Keith 54
James W. Mowdy 14
Geo. W. Mowdy 14
Albert 10
Margaret 7
Martha 7
Orninur (?) 3
Stephen Pollard 3

Could the Albert listed here be the same Albert you mention in your message as father to your Michael Monroe Mowdy?

The Lemuel Keith listed is my ancestor and I am hoping to make a connection between this Mowdy family and my Keith family. It's possible that one of Lemuel Keith's daughters may have married a Mowdy and these are children from that marriage. It also appears that there are two sets of twins, James & George and Margaret & Martha.

Do you have any further information on Albert's parents or siblings?
