Asa Mott
Posted by: Cleo Fink (ID *****3744) Date: February 22, 2007 at 10:28:11
  of 15

Asa was b: abt 1799 in South Carolina. His father was William also born in South Carolina about 1765.

Asa and his brothers migrated to Mississippi Teritory of Alabama. He was a private in the War of 1812 in his Uncle, Lovelace Mott's regiment, the 15th (Johnson's) Mississippi Volinteers per his pay record card.

Does anyone have any info on where Asa died, what killed him, and how his children came to live in Tennessee between 1826 and 1824.

I look forward to your help.

Thanks,
Cleo Mott-Fink
