Hey folks, what a great treat to find this forum! I have always wanted to come to the Motsinger Shed reunion, but have never been able to get away for it - I think it is on Sundays? I am a pastor in KC and so this makes things difficult - but what a delight to find you all. As a child - and I still do this about twice a year, now with my children - would go through the cemetery there and do recognize many of the names I am reading here on these posts. I am the grandson of Lawrence Sherman "Happy" Motsinger, who married Anna Mae Lollar. (My parents are Larry and Carolyn Hoffman (Motsinger). I am putting together a family tree book now for my grandma Anna Mae as a gift (she doesn't know it yet) and as a family heirloom for our children. If any of you might happen to have:
1. Any information or pictures of Happy Motsinger or of his immediate siblings that I could incorporate into this book that would be great.
2. Any advice on compiling such a book, I do know that ancestry.com has a service and I am sure others do to...where I can scan in pictures, letters, documents, etc. Any advice in that direction? That would be great!
