Chamah Debbie

I'm looking for an Indian by the name of "Mosco".

During Capt John Smiths exploration of the VA shores in 1608, he mentioned a savage by the name of "Mosco" as being their guide and was from the Wighcocomoco Tribe ( spelled Wicocomico today).Smith stated that he thought Mosco was 1/2 French because of his heavy black beard. I believe he may have been 1/2 Spanish.

I realize this is a long shot, but names change down thru the years.

If you have Native American heritage please contact me at byrdman@theriver.com
