Sams - Newcastle/Northumberland - c 1880

1. Looking for any information on William Sams (1832-1915) and his son, Stephen Sams(1860-1939), both from Newcastle / Northumberland, England. Both emigrated to Canada and thence to Michigan.

2. William Sams married Mary Ann Woodcock. On 8 March 1882 they emigrated to Canada on the Allan Line ship SS Polynesian, arriving Halifax on 22 March 1882. They lived near their son, Stephen Sams in vicinity of London, Ontario. Abt 1885-1887 they emigrated to Michigan and lived in vicinity of Meade Township, Macomb County, Michigan.

3. Stephen Sams married Ellen (Nell) Pringle and emigrated to vicinity of London, Ontario, Canada between 1878-1882. Abt 1887 they emigrated to Bad Axe, Huron County, Michigan.
