Has anyone out there ever solved this one? I (and I know others) have been searching for an answer to who Emily's parents were. They were born in Virginia, but that could mean present-day Kentucky, or ___.
Emily was born 23 July 1814 in Mt. Sterling (Montgomery County) KY, and died 13 Sept 1897 in Page County, Iowa. She married James X. Gibson who was born 1 Jan 1811. They also lived in Putnam County, Indiana. Any clues very welcome.
