I am looking for information on this family and how to piece it together. George W. Mosier was born sept 30 1847 or 1848 in Missouri. I have census records for him and his wife and family in 1910 and 1900 but have only pieced together bits for previous years. here it goes:
1850 McDonald County Missouri
WIlliam Moser 36 farmer born in Tennessee
Lydia 31 born in Arkansas
Sally 13, John 12, Malinda 11, all 3 born in Indiana. Exena Boatright 11 born Texas. Isaac Moser 10 Missouri,
Catherine Moser 4, and George Moser 2. missouri also a Catherine Hobbs 88, connecticut.
1860 McDonald County Missouri
William Moser 46 and Lydia 46. Isaac Moser 19 Catherine Moser 13, George 11, and Silas Moser 17.
1870 male children listed in Wm Moser's household in 1850-1860:
1870 Cooke County Texas - Silas Mosier 25 and wife Nany 24, children William 1 and Louana 9 months. Living with Ann Henry age 60, and James Henry 22.
1870 McDonald County Missouri Isaac Moser 28 and Elizabeth 23.
1870 McDonald County Missouri John Mosier 33, Lucinda 25. Albert 2, Ada 3mo., Alfred Kirby 18, John kirby 14, Newton Kirby 10.
1870 George Mosier was Coffey County Kansas (states born in Missouri) working on a farm for Theodore Cleary.
in 1870 Dallas County Texas there is a William Mosier that could likely be the same as the McDonald County, Missouri one, if him. William Mosier, age 55 born in Tennessee. wife Sarah J 33 born in ill. Frances 13, born texas, Mary 10, Josiah 8, Sarah J. 6, all Texas. and Amarilla? 31, georgia
can't find my George in 1880
1900 Parker County
George W Mosier born Sept 1847 in Missouri. "Can't tell" where parents from. Saphrona I born June 1862 in Texas. Children Maudie dec 1889, Mary N, Jan 1892, ALvi O March 1893, LUTHER C, sept 1894, and step children Flag E Guess feb 1883, and Malcom R Guess feb 1886. All children born in Texas.
in 1910 the family was also in Parker County.
Can anyone help clear these families up for me??
