d like to link some names I have from my father....
His name is Richard Westley Alton Sr.
siblings are: Lois Price -(Alton)adopted by Harold Philips of south Dakota,
married to Russel Price
Charles Wayne Alton, married to Mary (?)
Jack Alton - raised by Copeland family in 1937
Jack had three daughters
One girl named Tina (m. Grover)
and one son whose name is also
Richard Alton - he lives in Santa Cruz, CA
their father's name:
Charles Alton Mosher, he was married first to a woman unknown, back
east...he moved to Aimes Iowa, married Chloteel Shoop under the name Charles
Alton.
Charels Alton (Mosher) and Chloteel Shoop had my father richard, and Jack,
charles and Lois....
Charles Mosher's father was also Charles Mosher, possibly born in
England...worked for and had a lifetime pension through the Otis Elvator Co.
due to an on the job injury. He was married to a Welsh woman....they had 7
children as far as my father can remember.....names are Charley (grandpa)
Rupert, Harry, Lela, Kenard, and two others he cannot remember........
We seem to come from England, to New York, to Minnesota around 1937, South
Dakota
Finally, Lois Price lived for a long time in Salt Lake, so I'm hoping some of
her records were added to the archives...
