Moshiers in Bedford NY-John Moger-1789

My wife Melissa's GG Grandfather was James Moshier of Chestnut Ridge NY and I found that Chestnut Ridge Road is a section on the Bedford / North Castle town lines.
Also, according to the history of Bedford the name Moshier was spelled Moger, Mozer, Mozier, Mosher, Mosure, Mojer, and Moshier all for the same family at different times on different documents.
