I just found your posting today. I think you have found some important information on the Moses family. Much of what you posted can be corroborated with the Moses family, as published in:
A Givens-Hall family history from pre-Revolutionary times to 1970, including many related families ... / compiled by Dorothy Hall Givens. 1971. 702 pages. Radford, VA
The Moses family is treated briefly on pages 543-545 (Chapter 15).
However, there is additional information in this book. Simpson P. Moses and Lizzie Tucker had nine other children, in addition to Brice Jackson Moses.
I have no direct relationship to the Moses family, but I do have an aunt who is a grandniece of Brice.
