I am related to Simon Moser, son of Henry Moser and Mary Broome, I think. Simon had a daughter named Terza born 1863, also known as tressie mae. her bro's and sisters are:
John MOSER b: 1846 in Union County, North Carolina
Alexander MOSER b: OCT 1848 in Union County, NorthCarolina
Sarah A. MOSER b: 1849 in Union County, North Carolina
Martha Jane MOSER b: MAY 1851 in North Carolina
Lydia Ann MOSER b: BET. 1857 - 1858
Louisa MOSER b: 1859
Ellen MOSER b: 1861
Simon M. MOSER b: 1866
Lessie MOSER b: 1869

the picture I have of Terza (I have a few) this woman was clearly native american, no doubt about it. can any one shed light on this? was this a native american family who took christian names?
