I just noticed your query, so I checked my genealogy and I see that my gr-gr-grandfather, Mark Napoleon Moseley, Sr., had a brother, William A. Moseley.I know nothing about William A. Moseley, and not even sure if he's your William; however, Mark did live in Texas.Perhaps something will sound familiar to you, if I tell you about my family.
Mark Napoleon Moseley, Sr., b. 10-17-1847 Perry Co., AL, was the son of Lewis A. Moseley and wife Harriett (last name began with an E).Lewis & Harriet were married at Warrenton, AL September 1845, and had these known children:Mark N., Margaret Jane who married a Walker; William A.; and dau. Fenatty who married a Thomlinson.(William A. was probably born in the 1850s.)When Lewis & family eventually moved into TX, they were in the area of Bell Co., TX.Later, and I don't know when, Mark settled in Atascosa County, moved to Karnes County, then back to Atascosa where he is buried.I know that his parents eventually died at San Antonio, and that his sister Fenatty got married in Atascosa County.I'm not sure where Margaret lived or what happened to William A., but I haven't researched them.(I'm not actively working on this line.)I do know that Mark N.'s eldest son, Thomas Atwood, lived in and around Bell and Milam Counties.Isn't Buckholts in one of those counties?
