Hey Ralph I am working on the French connection. My grandfather always told me the Moseley family came from France on the Mozelle River. That they raised Belguim horses for the French army. My grandson is in touch with a nun in Metz, France who does genealogy. We know John Turner Moseley born around 1783-90 possibly in VA was married to Elizabeth LeFoy. Her father James LeFoy was born 9/20/1757 in B. France. They were in Milledgeville, GA in 1805 and moved on to Washington County Alabama, They are buried in a Moseley Cemetery across the road from Cecil Lopers place, on his land. Let me know what you find out. Bettye Moseley Mastin (e-mail bettyejean5@aol.com)
