hey how are you doing? sorry it has taken so long to get back with you. my ancestor john moseley was born c.a 1765 in the granville, north carolina area. he married elizabeth barton of granville north carolina. believe johns father to be john moseley born in virginia and died in granville, north carolina. john moseley showed up in montgomery co tn in 1804. not sure if he arrived any sooner. do you think these moseleys to be of french descent or not. that would be pretty interesting. let me know if you have any more information thanks ralph moseley
