Henry Mosely of Northumberland Co., Va
Hi!
I have Henry Moseley of Northumberland Co., Va.He died in Northumberland County in 1656.His will lists wife, Anne and sons John and Henry. An Orphan's cattle account in 1657 also lists daughter, Anne. The account was filed by John Tyngey. A 1660 deed of sale in Northumberland lists the wife of John Tyngey as Anne. The assignment was acknowledged in court by John Tingey and Henry Moseley the Attorney of Anne Tingey.John Tingey's will refers to his sons-in-law, William , John and Henry Moseley. It also refers to Thomas Harding's eldest boy.Thomas Harding is supposed to have married the daugher of Henry and Anne Moseley. It would appear that Anne, widow of Henry Moseley married #2John Tingey.
That Henry Moseley was the father of the Anne Mosely who married Thomas Harding seems clear. The link I have been unable to make is that Henry's wife, Anne Moseley Tingey was the daughter of George and Elizabeth Knott.
It would also appear that John Tingey married again to Elizabeth. She is listed as his wife in his will dated 1667.Following court records she was Elizabeth Berry Knott Bennett Mann Tingey Shears.

Will of John Tyngey mentions wife, Elizabeth.
NORTHUMBERLAND CO., VA RECORDS:Pre-nuptial agreement between William Sheares and Elizabeth, widow of John Tingey.
1668.
It would seem unlikely that Elizabeth Knott would have married the same man (John Tingey)as her daughter, Anne.
Is their any real link from George and Elizabeth Knott to Anne Moseley, wife of Henry.Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
